What is myofascial decompression aka cupping?

An alternative medicine technique that can be traced back to ancient Chinese, Egyptian and middle eastern cultures. Within the last decade, cupping has gained traction in modern society and especially within the sports realm for its efficacy on recovery. Cupping lifts fascia and muscles close to the skin surface promoting elongation and fluid movement where fascial adhesions and trigger points are  located.
